Kudos to the great folks at Summit Hut who donated outrageously fantastic camping equipment for a giant raffle in conjunction with  the 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo Ride presented by TMC held in February/March with proceeds to benefit BAG IT.  Over $2,000 was raised! How awesome is that?

Summit Hut is a solid supporter of BAG IT and partnered with us last fall with the Take a Hike for BAG IT event. Look for their new store opening this summer south of Oracle/McGee!

Held at the beautiful Hacienda del Sol Resort, it promises a gourmet Wine-Pairing Menu with an intriguing “It’s in the Bag” silent auction.  Sponsorships are offered this year and we hope you will bring family, friends, and cancer survivors as guests to join us to celebrate!

Epic Rides is a Tucson-based organization dedicated to celebrating the bicycle, putting on family-friendly mountain bike events that make every ride feel just as exhilarating as your very first one.

Each of Epic Rides events have a fundraising component in order to help those who have found themselves in a less than ideal juncture in life. Be it through canned goods or cash, Epic Rides feels it’s important to leverage our critical mass of mountain bike based good times for a good cause.

That’s why Epic Rides is proud to announce BAG IT as the new primary beneficiary of the 2013 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo Presented by the Tucson Medical Center. Funds from the Epic Raffle and registration-based donations will go to help grow the success of BAG IT. So this President’s Day weekend, while riding around the clock and fighting fatigue, participants in the Old Pueblo will help thousands fight the fear associated with cancer diagnosis.

This ancient Chinese game never gets old!
On November 3, BAG IT volunteer Joy Hughes and her event committee organized the 7th Annual Green Valley Mah Jongg tournament to benefit BAG IT. An afternoon of fun for many brought serious bucks for BAG IT; the tournament winners even donated their prizes to our organization.

A big thank you to Joy Hughes and friends for donating more than$9,500 over the last seven years!  Your contributions help to ensure that BAG IT is available at no charge to patients.
